Actions arising from the Minutes – None

Planning & Development

  • Draft Berry Showground Master Plan – Forum submission prepared by Judith.
  • GW Agritourism draft bill – to be released for 28-day public feedback.
  • Proposed service station – Council waiting for response from applicant.
  • 23 Parker Crescent multi dwelling DA – Council refusal likely to be appealed at LEC.

Infrastructure & Facilities
Boongaree long vehicle parking area – councillors voted to remove from the Master Plan.
Proposed traffic calming in Queen St. – no response yet from TfNSW.
Philip’s proposal for a town speed limit of 40km/h – TfNSW do not consider it to be viable.
Lighting at school crossing in Victoria St – temporary measures being considered by Council.

Forum Meeting and AGM on 14 September
AGM – Committee nominations request in Town Crier and newsletter on 25 August with responses by 3 September.
